Hello All!
I need the "Steering angle sensor" in my car reprogrammed. Mine failed so I replaced it with a used one and now apparently need it "Coded" so it will communicate with my DSC module. The dealer wants 130$ to do so but I was wondering if anyone has the capability to help me for a bit less. I would much rather give the money to an indie enthusiast before the dealership. I am located in the Hudson Valley in New York But also Visit western MA frequently. Let me know if anyone can help. Thanks so much!

Do you have BMW standard tools and the plug already?

If not, try finding an indy locally, any half decent garage with decent Euro car diagnostic equipment can do that (Autologic and the likes).
