just got my wife another set of m pars for her e39. the tires on them are 235/45/18 and 255/40/18. i haven't installed them yet. i have to go get the hub centric spacers tomorrow morning so i don't know if that size is going rub. whats the best size for staggered 18s on an e39?
thanx in advance.

I really hate going in there. I prefer my e38 family.

Oh Slimm stop being a wussy and mosey on over there dude! lol! Seriously I think have seen the differences discussed on here. I think I recall that they have different hub sizes than our e38's, but can't tell you about tire sizes. Try doing a search on e39 wheels in here. good luck

I am running 245/40 and 275/35 on my 540. What gives me concern is the need for hub centric rings....
The e39 hub should be bigger than any others. Unless the Mpar's are reps and have an even larger bore hole?

As "Q" posted in an earlier thread.
all BMW 5/6/7/8/Z8 models have the same wheel specs EXCEPT the E39 5 series which has a larger 74.1mm wheel hub/center bore:
5x120mm wheel bolt pattern
10mm-28mm wheel offset range (the latest 5/6/7 models have a few REAR staggered wheels with offsets as high as 32mm)
72.56mm wheel hub/center bore (EXCEPT the e39 5 series which has a 74.1mm wheel hub/center bore)
As stated in this thread ---> linky linky (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1546709-Differences-between-M-Parallel-37-E38-and-E39)
The e38 M-parallel has an ET:13 compared to an e39 ET:20, if you indeed own the e38 m-pars you might have to buy 5-10mm spacers for proper fitment.
