Ports 7 and 19 are correct. Turn key to position 2 and hold there for 5 seconds.

If that doesn't work maybe you can find a friend or a shop to reset it with a code reader.

They can be extremely finicky sometimes. Also, if it says "inspection" instead of "oil service", it'll take about 25 seconds for that to reset. I've only had luck doing it with two people; one to hold the wire, and one to turn the car to position 2 (on, run; not start). Even then, it won't work every time. It took me 20 tries to get it on my 328 a few months ago, but I prevailed, and eventually it worked.

Ok I'll keep trying then, do I need to turn the key to pos 2 before I put in the paperclip or after?

Yea, it usually takes me 2-3 times before it resets.

I was successful at resetting my car when doing it the first time. Try using a better conducting wire, copper or silver, with a gauge larger than a paper clip. This will help with pushing more amperage. I used an 8mm.

1) Make contact between 7-19
2) Turn key to pos. 2
3) Count to 10sec.
4) Quickly remove the wire

Good luck!

Use a paper clip. It's free and disposable.

You're right, using a paper clip is free and disposable, may be it'll finally reset after the 20th time you try.

These circuits only use a few mili-amps. If you have trouble with the paper clip, it is because surface corosion makes it hard to make a low pressure conection. I use a wire with aligator clips on each end. I have never needed more than one try.

Couldn't really tell you if it'll reset after the 20th time. It never took more than one.
