Hi guys,
I'm very new to the diagnostic software and coding side of BMWs so please bear with me a moment.
Basically I am trying to build an E30 V8 Powered by an M62B44, I have obtained the motor and harness with ECU. The problem is the rest of the car was destroyed long ago.
I also have the E30 that will be receiving the V8. Is it possible to delete just EWS3 from the DME I have? I'd like to leave the E30 with as little modifications behind the firewall as possible. That is to say I do not want to introduce EWS to the chassis at all and have to wire in the brain and keyring to the EWS or require the use of an EWS key etc.
Can anyone offer pointers in the right direction or know of a service that might be able to do this? Thanks.
