Hello, I am interested in changing my current wheels/tires. I currently own a 2009 328xi.
My current stock is a 16" Wheels and 205/55R16.
I've done some online shopping and found these VERDE Calibre Wheels and Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport. It comes down to choosing between whether I want, 17" or 18", any suggestions :P?
If I opt to get the 17", My tires will be 225/45R17 and the Wheels are 17"x7.5" weighing 19.8lb
or if I opt to get the 18", My tires will be 225/40R18 and the Wheels will be 18"x7.5" weighing 22.91lb
Are these correct and safe for my car?
Does anyone know how much stock BMW wheels weigh?
Do I have to worry about the sidewalls rubbing when I make turns? Even tho width difference for tires are 0.8"?
I doubt it will rub on my fenders, the diameters should be about 0.2" greater than the original.
Someone mentioned that I should be aware that if I change the wheels, I will change how the wheel sits on the arch. I have no clue what that means.
Just curious, how much of a difference will this lower my car? Assuming my calculation is correct? I should not notice much of a difference. Correct?
Finally, I don't know what tools I will be needing to install these myself. If I need to take it to a local mechanic, would you recommend taking it to a local mechanic? If so, any idea how much they will charge me?
Thank you :)

^ I'm still looking around for wheels, if you have any suggestions on some wheel. I'd be happy to take a look at them. As long as they are reasonably priced. ~$170 ea
Finally, here's my baby :)
