I know my carsoft 6.5 works, because I've just done my e31 on it. When I plug my wife's 320d (2001) in, it comes up with a fault for DME, and none of the other modules respond. If I run a single check on the DME, it says it doesn't respond. I've checked the connection (under dash only, no round socket in engine bay), tried it in key positions 1 and 2, lights on and off, but it still won't read any modules. Anyone else experienced this?
