So today I drove down to Maryland to pick up some wheels. When I got close to the meet up point I gave the car the beans just for thrills. I parked at a gas station and got a drink. When I turned the car on and pulled out of the lot I noticed my clutch felt way lighter than normal (however it normally feels way heavier than other e36's?) I put it into first, the shifter also felt strange, it was somewhat difficult to put it into gear and difficult to take it out. Let go of the clutch as I would normally and it was jerky, further down the road I put it into second, same feeling as first. Then I put it into third and its completely neutral even though it was in gear. I couldnt get any of the gears to engage so I rolled into a parking lot near by. I shut the car of and talked to a few friends asking what the problem could be. I start her up and very very slowly let off the clutch in reverse, It moved! then very very lightly did the same for first and it also engaged. Still had the same improper feeling as before. There was no terrible noises as you would hear with a dead clutch. My friends all seem to say the same thing, Master Cylinder. I want to see what you guys on here think?
