I have installed INPA on my small netbook, I have a larger than most desk top but only had a small netbook running xp starter pack, INPA installed fine and can connect to the car. But vmplayer won't install leaving me no DIS to play with. So I am looking for a lap top just for the sole purpose of using it on my Z3 98 2.8l.

It will probably be a second hand one when I find one in good condition.
I am a hobbyist programmer and the coding part of the car looks easy compared to some of the php/javascripting and action script I have done

Is there any specs in a laptop I should aim for to get the most out of the laptop and programs inpa/dis/tis/ rest of them?

32bit or 64, xp>win8, I had glimpses that 32 bit has more advantage than 64 can you tel me why?
