I'm finalizing my decision on a 2013 335i X-drive coupe and wanted to get some opinions on the M Sport package? What are your thoughts? Worth the money?

I think you might be in the wrong section?

The coupe is still the E90 edition. The 4-series releases later this year and will be the new F30, as I understand it.

Depends if you like driving aggressively and can put up with a much firmer ride. You'll feel every bump in the road...and there are a lot of those these days!

All the suspension are the same on X-drive cars (sport/non-sport) The wheels are larger on M sport wheels that is the only difference.

Is it like the "sports package" of a few years ago, where you get the staggered uprated wheels and tires? The raised top speed, better seats and such?

Yeah you get the upgraded wheels (they are still 17" though), sport seats, M steering wheel, aerodynamic kit, shadowline exterior trim, anthracite headliner, and increased top speed limiter. I think the tires remain the same, which I don't mind because I will need the all seasons due my climate.

This is just my opinion but I love the sports package. The seats, and steering wheel make a huge difference. To me the seats are so much more comfortable. Not sure about the xdrive, but the standard sport package drops the hight of the car around an inch, and gives it a much better looking stance. Again, just my opinion, but very much worth it.

I like the M-sports package with the M-aero kit looks with the addition of the sports package. If I had a choice I would get it. I was just saying that the car will not handle or ride much different from a normal non-sport X-drive model car. Its more of a looks thing.

Now if it was a RWD car there are some changes to the suspension.

So then the sports package and M package are two separate entities? If I build a 3 series now there is no more sport package.

I would do it for the suspension, more rubber in the back and seats. I know the Xi has a bit more ride height I believe. My rear wheel well is visually way closer than the same year Xi.

Thanks for the opinions. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Hmmm I think 17" is standard now for the M sport package. :(

Yeah they got rid of the normal sport package. I have the sport package and it comes with the sport steering wheel, paddles, sport seats(I love them), and the 18 inch 189 wheels. I thought the suspension and ride height stays the same on the E92 335i no matter what package you get. I guess I'm wrong? Lol

Get the M Sport package! You won't regret it!

Get the M package. There is the chance you may regret it if you dont but you will never regret it if you do. My .02$
