Hey bimmerforums! I recently purchased a 2007 BMW 328xi coupe, space gray metallic with all black dakota leather. It has the navigation option w/idrive, premium and cold weather package; it has roughly 73k miles on it. I am new to the 3-series family whereas i drove an E39 as my daily driver for my whole life so i do not know a lot of the secret tricks/tips that the e92 is capable of. If possible could anyone please inform me about all of the cool stuff this e92 has to offer? for instance, cool things the nav/obc does. Also, common problems that the e9x's share so i know what I am in for with this new bimmer.
Thanks a lot guys, i am so excited to pick it up tomorrow from Turnersville BMW!! :)

the biggest problem with the n52 is the thermostat/water pump isnt very reliable.. other than that, mine has been good to me.

It's a bigger problem on the N54. N54s can get 80k easy but then it is in the grey area. I have never heard of water pumps being an iffy item on the N52. Early N52s have the lifter tick but that is the only major item I have heard in my nearly 2 years of ownership and forum-using.

Just picked up the 2007 BMW xi E91 wagon. Always have been in love with touring saloon cars, was pretty hard to find in Nor Cal and it was a shame I couldn't find one that was in stick. But so far I love it. The gas mileage of my car is not what I was expecting where I average 16.5 mpg and I drive like a grandma, but I mainly due city driving. I have driven your model and the E90/E91/E92 are true gems in the BMW family, plus I love that classic BMW driving experience. However, I am still striving to get the 1M, recently saw one when I was in San Francisco and the driver, who was Indonesian, really didn't know the value of the car. I kept giving him the thumbs up through my car window and he was just confused. It would blow his mind if I told him that his car was going for $250,000 in recent auctions in Dubai and how the car has had no depreciation ever since it was released lol. But like most jet setting wealthy Indonesians, he probably doesn't know and doesn't care much about luxury items.
