So finally made the switch got a 335i picking it up tomorrow and after searching and searching the forums to put performance parts into my 328i a majority of the people all said turn it in and get the twins. Now that im getting my turbos its a CPO, everything on it has basically been replaced (minus injectors which my coverage will probably run out before i need new ones but whatever) is there anything i can do to this car to make it better and i mean small upgrades (not meaning cheap as i understand all upgrades with these cars are expensive) nothing crazy mainly upgrades to keep it running smoother and last longer.

I should mention its a 2007.5 335i E90 60k miles with sport and premium packages

Congrats - pics are in order. Coming from the 328 you may already know this, but check to see if the car has the iPod/USB adapter in the center console compartment. If so, check to see if it has the Y-Adapter. If not, ask your dealer to supply one. You'll be loving life.

Lux E90 V5.2: http://luxangeleyes.com/products (there are other LED AE brands out there also)

If not already done, expect to replace your waterpump/thermostat and oil filter housing gaskets soon.

Thanks guys, ill look into the golf tee mod, already has the angel eyes and yes I kept my iPod adapter from my 328i. As well as plugs coils waterpump hpfp tires rotors and brakes have all been replaced within the past month so its almost like new minus the injectors. Ill post pics of the car later today.

I think the angel eye mod he is referring to is something like the LUX H8 replacement LEDs which change the yellow look to bright white. You need to tell us what transmission you have.
I would change the diff fluid and the transmission drain and refill if you plan to keep this car for a long time.
Also you are new to this model so don't repeat don't beat on this car until the oil temp gage is off the mark unless you want to blow turbo seals. I would not go JB4 (I do like JB products) and would purchase Cobb instead. Why? Because there are thousands of performance maps that would allow you to tailor the tune to anything you want.
The car needs nothing else really it is already pretty good with those minor changes...
Good luck with your new ride...

If angel eyes are not bright white you should upgrade to LED.

Also, this is very nice:

I kindly disagree with the CSL rims. Go with lightweight rims.

Also:
DCI
Black kidney grills
Rear fog light mod
Window tint

I just picked up my 2007 335i about a month ago. sport/premium pkg as well. Love it. Mine has the black style 162 rims. I like them. But I did pick up a set of matching silver 162's this weekend for summer wheels.

You can get lightweight CSL rims. But those will be pricey. I ws thinking about staggered CSL rims from modbargains.com

and yes, window tint for sure. The rear fog lights could get you in trouble, my brother was pulled over about it.

Was he abusing the rear fogs? I only use mine for inclement weather and when a jackass is tailgating me even though the left lane is vacant.

TMS is selling lightweight rims for ~$400 a rim. They aren't CSL reps but function > form in my opinion.

FYI, my injectors failed at ~45k, right after I had the plugs changed. So if everything was done in the last month, watch out. And make sure they redo the plugs when they do the injectors as they are bound to be fouled when the injectors fail (mine were).

I changed out my yellow stock fog lights and high beam bulbs. Replaced all the interior lights and license plate lights with led. The interior lights almost match to the color of the lights under the door handles. My car is white and i had my rims powdercoated black. Did the black kidney grills. Also just changed out the chrome numbers on the trunk to black.

thanks i have an automatic wanted the manual but it just so happened the only manual they had happened to be 9k more which IMO wasnt worth it. and i have the replacement LED's. I'll keep in mind about the diff fluid. what should i wait for the oil temp to get to? right around 250? and the JB4 and Cobb is probably last on my list.

Otherwise i just bought the black carbon fiber looking numbers for the back and am thinking of buying air scoops intake and air filter as well as DCI any thoughts? Also the top has a carbon fiber look to it as well as carbon fiber mirror covers and already has the black kidney grill and 20% tint windows so im just trying to stick with the whole carbon fiber thing ill post pics of it tomorrow so you guys can get an idea.

thanks is there any way to look out for this? or does it just come when it comes?

why would you buy air scoops or a stupid air filter and not a tune? lol Sorry I don't mean to laugh at you, but I can't help it, that is ridiculous.

dammit, I just came in to edit it, as I felt I was too blunt. Sorry

Correct, NO, all that other stuff is absolutely worthless. A tune will absolutely, positively blow your mind. Change your air filter with a new stock paper one, change the spark plugs just cause and do it if you can financially.
