As most of you guys know, I have had every iteration of the MINI and now I only have 1 left. The last MINI I have is a CVT that has been having problems with the tranny since day 1. My dealer has not been very responsive to my requests because of the problems with my first MINI, a MC 5 spd. I returned that to the dealer and purchased a MCS which I have subsequently sold. The reason I still have the CVT is because in all good conscience, I cannot sell a defective car to someone.

I guess I'm not the only one having problems with my dealer as other people have it worse. Just take a look at the following threads on NorthAmericanMotoring.com and respond if you feel like it. The dealer reads NAM, but remains silent.

Things have gotten so bad, one of the unhappy owners started a webite about her problems and problems others have encountered. That website is www.MINI-Pooper.com

Sorry about your problems. I am surprised how they treated you. Good luck.

Dealerships really can make or break a person's relationship with their car! I got rid of a Miata just because the dealership here told me I didn't know shit about cars and Miatas.

So far, my MINI dealership (Nashville) has been fine, but I haven't had any problems, either.

I still think that BMW and MINI need to provide mechanics in BMW dealerships. That way, we would have better choices!

Thanks for your support. May your MINIs live a long and trouble free life.

Wow, that really sucks. The power steering died on mine and they replaced it for free, as well as the rear hatch mechanism. This happened at 2 seperate dealers too, no problems whatsoever.

Good luck with the CVT however much longer you keep it.
