"Every once in awhile, you must take on a project that tests your metal (sp). This one decided to do so by having very little metal actually left in it. This 1968 BMW 2002 is VIN 1660013 the 13th US production 2002 ever made, and the earliest known survivor. The car is currently being dismantled, and will spend the rest of this year being stripped and prepped for historic racing. We hope to be campaigning this car in SCCA club events and HSR by next year. Long live Lucky #13."
