1999 BMW 540it 199,000 miles.
Changed trans fluid and filter @89,000 miles when I bought it.The message center is displaying transfailsafe PROG. When I connect it to INPA the codes read faulty EDS 3 regulator. If I clear, do adaptations rest, and let it sit for a couple of days it'll go away for about 200-300 miles. I'm also getting a load signal in the analog values 1 window( under throttle valve angle) that is jumping from 0 to max value with an exclamation. Is this value relative to the EDS 3 fault or is this another sensor or connection that might be bad or loose. Thank for any help in advance.
