At least post a link. I do have them on my E39 with converted spacers.

Here you go:

Basically I've got:
Front 8.5" ET43 w/245-40-18
Rear 9.5" ET21.5 w/275-35-18

Trying to figure out spacer size to correct wrong offset.

What size/offset wheels are you running? And how big are your spacers??? I was hoping the rear would be okay as is, but figured 25mm for the front. Am I close?

Oh, and one rear wasn't holding air, but turned out to just need the valve replaced. :)

20mm or 25mm spacers in the front.

20mm or 25mm spacers in the front.

The guy I bought them from was running monster 43mm spacers in front, making the offset effectively 0. Doesn't appear to have rubbed at all, but that seems like an awfully large spacer.

After doing a little math, if used 25mm spacers (making the offset effectively 18), the inboard flange would go 5mm further in on the inside and the outboard flange would go 9mm further out on the outside compared to stock. If I went up to 30mm spacers (making the offset effectively 13), the inboard flange would be the the same as stock on the inside, but the outboard flange would go 14mm further out on the outside. I think I'd rather do the latter, but I'm not sure about using such big spacers.

I love those wheels, Mike. I'm running a replica set. I got them pretty cheap. They're 18x8.5 ET35 all around with 72.56mm hub bored. The thickest hub-convert spacers I could find is 20mm, so the final offset is 15mm. Tires are 235/40 fronts and 255/35 rears. I would like to bring the front out another 10mm if I could find those 30mm hub-convert spacers.
For yours, front offset is high at 43mm. I would run atleast 30mm, 35-38mm would be pretty ideal. Rear is find without spacer.
Regarding mounting rings, you need to make sure to get the correct set, to reduce the hub-bore from whatever ACS is down to 74.1mm for E39 hub.
Hope this help.
