Hello, I am an owner of a E60 2003/2004. Recently I bought a generic type ELM327 scanner. But the software suitable for BMW Carsoft accuses read error interface. I checked the female plug of my car and realized that these are pins 1, 4, 5, 7, 9 and 16. I also read here that some friends had to make changes to the interface itself, soldering pins 7 and 8, as well as 1 and 2 to make it work. Can someone try to help me with any tips? please ... thank you
