I finally found tires from these guys in Alameda - AVN Tires. They are REALLY great guys, very helpful, very friendly and AMAZING prices. They even offer installation and Road Force balancing.

Here are first shots of the car with the new wheels:

17' Type 32's coming off.

(Weird thing happened. We jacked up the rear of the car to get the jack arms underneath and water starting coming out of the area where the jack pad is on the driver's side. Look under car to see HOW MUCH WATER!!!)

Yup! But now I gotta figure out how to lower it more in the front without rubbing and still clearing the fenders. It looks high to me again... :dunno

I would love to lower it some more, but would need Coilovers to do that. Would also be concerned about clearance of front fenders.

Thanks man! I assure you though, my touring is not the nicest looking one on here. You gotta see some of the stuff the guys have done to their cars - mine is nothing.

Those are the only other wheels I would ride on other then mine, they look better on your wagon then they do on the M5.

I need to take some more pictures. The car actually settled some more and looks much better. I don't want to drop the back any lower as it would loose that stance / rake it currently has which I like.

Thanks! I like them on the car very much. I am happy with the choice.

I think the rear needs to go lower, as opposed to the front.

I restored my headlights today with the 3M kit and some touches of my own. Came out pretty nice. I even polished the lenses in the housing.

I also installed M5 grills since I lost a grill last night..... and then took some more pictures.

I almost bought the kit other day to do mine. They arent too bad but could be better... Kinda thunkin to let them get worse before i mess w them. Tricky or easy?

Honestly, I am VERY impressed with the kit. For $25 + a Drill, it's well worth it.

It is pretty easy if you just do it on the car. When I did mine, I took the assemblies off the car, then I took them apart and polished the Glass lenses inside as well.

Whole thing took me about three hours. However, I started out by hand with 500 grit, then went to 600 grit ... wet sanding before I even used the pads in the kit.

I also used 1200 grit before I used the Polisher in the kit. It took a bit more time, but it was well worth it to me. Pictures cannot do the lights justice.

The wheel/tire combo fills out the wheel wells nicely! Along with the ride height, smoked windows, etc makes for one impressive touring!

Thanks! The wheels were a gamble, but I was certain I wanted Type 65's or similar and these in 19' seemed to be the best choice. I'm happy with them.

Just did a turn around trip to LA with the wheels and the car performed great.
