Hey guys, simple question. Currently i have a 1999 m3 vert with ddm tuning coilovers. Im running 19"s with 235/35r19s. Im going to be changing tire and rim type so i wanna know if these wheels will fit without modding/spacers.
The wheels are
AC schnitzers off 535
235/40r18
265/35r18.
Will i need to get lower profile tires? Or could i get away with usong them asis currently?

You will need offset specs in order to determine if spacers are needed.

are the wheels staggered? if so they would be 8.5 and 9.5 widths. On the wheels itself you will see the numbers 18x8.5 and the letter "e" followed by a number. I believe the 8.5 rims are +13 offset and the 9.5 are +20. On the rim it will look like "e13"....regardless, it these "E34" rims are going to installed on an E36, you will have to run much smaller tires. The sizes mentioned will never work.

You are not providing enough info....We still don't know if they are Type 1, Type 2, or Type 3 wheels....bottomline, post some photos and make it easier for others to help you.

so you are getting the set from that link, or you're just posting it because it has a picture of the wheel you want to buy?
..note that those are reps, so it may not reflect the specs of what youre actually buying.

Tell you what, the wheels with bolts around them are the modular version of the type 3, another small detail you left out. Why do you refuse to provide photos of the actual wheels? Are they Top Secret like Obama's documentation......? Which is it because I don't mind helping a 75 yr old lady with some groceries or crossing the street but I'll be damned if I'm going to waste my time giving an alcoholic a ride to the nearest bar. ALL WHEELS, EVEN THE CHEAPEST GARBAGE FROM CHINA, HAVE THE OFFSET CAST OR STAMPED INTO THE WHEEL, BUT EVEN IF THIS PARTICULAR SET DOESN"T, A PHOTO CAN HELP ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS.....Btw, since they came off a 5 series, I highly doubt you'll need spacers. If anything they'll stick-out way past the fender lip.

Look man there is no reason toget testy. I was saying earlier i was posting oh here from MY pHONE and didnt know how to upload that way. Its no reason to start flaming someone. For god sake mellow it wasnt a freaking conspiracy, js lack of knowledge on how to post pics from my phone onto the forums. Pics will be posted tomorrow. And as far as the rims and coilovers i currently have. They came on the car, hence the reason to downsize a bit, but if it was gonna be too much of an issue i was going to go 17" wheels instead. And the coilovers are gonna be scrapped, for what kind idont quite know yet. So as i said before ill have them (pictures) posted later being tomorrow. I just dodnt know how to do it from my phone. No need to be a dick about things some of us are not quite as knowledgable about things as others are. Thanks for ur help so far though.
So i just got done trying to post a picture of the wheels. And this is the messge i recieved from the bimmerforums automated reply:

try sending an email or a private message. Maybe that will help you find the answers you seek.....Lastly, if you found my comments testy, try asking a mechanic to fix your car without him seeing it based on your decriptions of the sounds/symptoms......

MAN you are so right! thats perfect, email, private messages, and being descriptive. Holy crap i wish i would have thought of that. I thought thats what i was doing. Evidentally i wasnt being descriptive enough, i thought specifying my tire size and rim type vs what i was lookin at was a good description. And than i asked the guy for more info on the tires js like you asked for. And than i looked at the description on the rim like you asked for. Than i tried getting you a picture of something just like i was lookin at even though i cant post pics or url's yet. and than i repsonded to you promptly and you still remain and insulting prick. No offense and all some of us just dont get the "whole offset and wheel size thing" which is why i asked to begin with and was trying to get answer to you quickly or the best i could. But instead you spit on me being a dick talking about old ladies, booze, and mechanics working on cars based on sounds. I appreciate the help, I appreciate the time youve taken to go over things with me, but i guess, you are a college lvl professor of wheels and tires and im still in preschool. I was just excited to find a nice set of Schnitzers that looked good. So i will have to pass on the wheels, this is becoming to much of a pain in the ass, trying to just figure out if this would work. Ill just step back into some style 5's and be good with those. Thanks for your time.
