I just picked up a set of style 65 wheels for my e36. Someone told me that it would not fit. Is this true? What do i have to do to make them fit?

What is the size and the offset of the wheel? Let me know and I can help.

roll your fenders and get smaller tires. that should do the trick.

So I was told. Will try. Not going to put on until summer as my car is under construction for now.

I don't see that working on your car. The E39 M5 wheels are 18X9.5 rear with a 20mm offset. They are going to need a wider tire to fit the car and just the wheels alone will stick outside of the wheel well. I would say you can make them work but it will take some fender work. Compared to the stock wheel on the E36 M3 they are 1" wider and 1" lower offset.
