Well M5Jed has been on me about posting pics of my progress on the wagon since i basically bought one of his ///M5's:lol. Initially I was going full ///M5 conversion but decided I'd rather spend the cash on an F10 ///M5 so the wagon only gets cosmetics and some Dinan goodies. Anyways here are a few photos of the sled....

Upgrades Ive done thus far:
Matte Hellrot paint
Gloss black roof
painted style 32's copper with a matte finish
Michelin Pilot Super Sports 265/30/20 & 295/25/20
Dinan Stage 1 Suspension w/Bilsteins instead of Konis
Carbon Fiber rear diffuser
///M5 L exhaust
Lowered rear 1" electronically (I have a set of links if anyone needs em)
Complete ///M5 Carmel extended leather interior
Added OEM harness so heated seated would function properly and DSC panel with heated seat controls
///M5 mirrors
Painted interior trim gloss black
Changed location of speakers, if you remember they were in the A Pillars
Added iPad mini as sole entertainment control
Complete Authentic Alcantara headliner to complete ///M5 interior swap
swapped rear cargo carpet to black

Things left to be done:
replace liftgate cover with black one
finish stereo system in cargo area
finish upholstery on rear seat (its larger than sedan so just swapping covers will not work)
More Dinan goodies
Paddle shifter conversion

Currently recovering the rear seat to match the fronts with the carmel leather, the sedan rear seat is smaller than the touring so its taking me a bit to finish the rear seat

Cool, what goes into making the m5 left muffler adapt?

Sick, sick, sick!!! The wagon is coming along nicely. See...peer pressure works...a little.

Kudos on fitting those massive rear tires. I had 295/30/19 PS2s on my HRE C97s on my Anthracite M5 but sold the HREs since then. They rubbed at big bumps on the road but it was minor. I'm planning on fitting 305/30/18 on my 18" Dinans for the M5T, but even with completely rolled rear fenders, they might not fit. If so, I'll have to fall back on 295/30/18.

Well done! Congrats on the progress so far. The 20" Style 32's are an excellent choice. I'm still on the fence about the wheel color, but that's just me.

I'd suggest adding some sort of valentine or passport to your list, 'cus you know you will be seen by those in Chargers and Crown Vic's!!

Unique color choice, I would have opted for a color that wasn't so "loud" but I do like what you have done with the interior.

Ha, its the original color, just re cleared with a matte clear...you dont see hellrot wagons everyday like the other colors, the japan red is even brighter

I like it, but still think 20' wheels are a tad too big for these cars. Just me.... :dunno BTW... no PDC in the front?

In his defense, he just needs more of a drop to complete the look, those tire sizes are so key to getting that look and fitment. I had those tires sizes but I couldn't afford to keep buying them so I switched to 245/35/20 and 285/30/20.

My car has 20" Alpina's and it sits lower but wears the 20's well because of the the drop.

Nothing against Kognac's car, but I have to say your's is one of the few or only car I think that gets away with the 20' wheels. It really looks great. Ur probably right, with a drop and a bit of a stance, Kognac's car would be the dog's bollocks!

I went with 19' wheels .... now I feel I need more of a drop for the car:

I also think I want bigger rear tires.

Digging the first pic. I actually think the colour OP chose for the wheels works the best. Not really feeling the Silver wheels on that car.

That is slammed! Unfortunately with the wheel size can't go that low without pulling the rear fenders and I don't wanna do that but thx for the chops....if you recall my wheels were silver, when we painted the car just didn't look right so we did a modern twist on the classic red BMW with gold wheels....

the panels are m5 panels, fits fine no issues....car was up for sale but due to tire kickers and others calling me just to say "its so nice, how did yo do....?" after having me on phone 20 min pretending they wanted to buy but really had no intent....I think I am gonna keep it. even had one guy contact me saying that BMW built e39 m5 tourings and he was offered one in WA and wanted to know how much I thought it was worth...I informed him that there was only one built by BMW and its in Germany but there are a few clones out there...he stated I was incorrect so I laughed and ended that conversation....I will finish all the drivetrain in due time now that shes staying at home....Im happy
