1990 525i auto. Picked up for 1200.
Interior was bad. Passenger seat broke, but fixed it.
back seat ripped. Motor had 5 million vac leaks more like 10 but who's counting. And the body is in decent shape minus a broken taillight and some dings. Yes I bought eBay taillights. I think it looks OK on the car. I adjusted the valves they were around .020 I think when required .010. Cleaned and polished the throttle body cleaned the intake system. Ran seafoam threw it. Cleaned injectors. Replaces all o rings and tips. Got the filters just need time to replace. Replaced fuel filter. Added tranny fluid. Bypassed the throttle body coolent lines due to prev owner stripping out a hole. Replaced all rubber going to the intake.
Audio pioneer head unit. Mtx speakers and factory tweeters. I took the equalizer modual out and placed only one of the cars in the amp and wow what a difference.
I bought a set of 1.4 lowering springs but not enough time to lower it. And got new tie rod ends just need time to replace them.
Over all I like the car and my first BMW.
