Just wondering how much I could expect to get for my M-systems with throwing stars, I have a full set plus a spare with all center caps.

Staggered or not?
Forged or not?

Some people think these are made from whale tears and unicorn horns. People usually ask in the 1k range.

I'm not sure about the specs on them but they are stock on my M-sport, I don't believe they are staggered

Aye.

I believe M-Sports had cast T-Stars from the factory which translate into less desirable.

Brand new the 8s are $341/ea and the 9s are $350/ea.

Only certain parts of covers are still available, you cannot get a full set of Turbines or T-Stars from the dealer anymore.

You'd have a hard time selling naked squares for over $800. You could ask $1250 for mint, staggereds with covers but don't expect anyone to be lined up at your door.

Cast wheels are much rarer than the forged.

So say if I wanted to trade, what would be a comparable trade without sacrificing looks?

I'd trade you for my Rondell reps. My pics are everywhere here, though I'll post more if you want. That said, I want forged T-stars, not cast, so we'd want to check that. Right now the wheels are sitting in my living room - I was going to refinish them with (more) polished lips, and I still will if I have them when the weather gets warmer. Specs are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 for them, as they're staggered. Let me know.

P.S. Yes, the wheels in my sig. ;)

M-Sport's came with forged T-Stars. Cast ones are very rare. I've not seen them come factory on anything. They must have sold them through the parts counter.

How do you tell if forged or cast?

If the wheels and covers don't need refinishing, I wouldn't sell them for an less than $1250. Tires will not increase the value much.

Decent shape (not excessive curbing, no bends/cracks/etc), forged, 17x8 all around t-stars seem to trade for between $800-900. I would say, since you've got a spare, that $1,000 for the set would be fair. If they are not forged I would knock that down $100.

A couple years back I picked up a set of forged/staggered t-stars that were scratched a bit but straight with minimal curbrash for $750.... it's just a matter of how quickly you want to get rid of them.

As with anything, price it right they will be gone by the end of the week, play hard ball, you'll be siting on them.

I may be interested in the spare cover depending on which side it is.
