Hello! Wow, A replye, great, i need to practice my english, so this i good. For the moment my car just rests in the garage waiting for me to get som time for it. I´m trying to find some great stuff, so far i managed to find electrical sport leather, front brakes from e38 and some bodyparts in great shape. The surch continues. It seems like a good forum here, i LOVE the Datsun 240 from the early years! Nice talking to you.

Sounds good. Keep posting (constructively) and you'll have enough posts before too long to be able to attach/link pics and start a proper intro thread. Cheers.

Hej! Welcome. I've got one with a 5spd. The girlfriend complains about it being 'the other woman' that competes for her attention haha. They're fun cars, and classy looking too. Be sure to pick up a Bentley manual, as it has saved me countless hours of fiddling with stuff.

535s are awesome. Very easy to work on, and the m30 has great torque and goes well with a turbo...

Welcome! Look forward to reading about your adventure with the old girl.
You're actually quite understandable (I wish my Swedish was as good, or even existent. :)), so please do not let that be a deterrent to keeping us updated. There are several other folks from that part of the world that hang around here, so you are in good company.

Welcome as well, Ah a fellow Swed as well. I have some parts left over from my E34 wreck, so if there is anything you might want or need let me know? And I will ship to Sweden no problem as long as postage is paid on your side of course! lol. I deal alot with customers over in Europe and New Zealand, they are some of the nicest people you will deal with and they pay good money for items and NOT cheap people for the most part! lol. Let me or anyone know if there is anything we can do to help? SHAWN
Also if you start selling some nice euro bmw parts you will have alot of american bmw friends! :) we like rare and european parts! :)

hej! (that's it for my svenska)
+1 on getting the Bentley manual!
the Bentley and this forum, especially the e34 FAQ and e34DIY section have been invaluable as i've begun to learn about my 1991 535i 5-speed.
you've probably already visited your countryman's site; i've found it useful and i like his style. i can't post hyperlinks as i'm new, too, so here's a work-around:

see you around the forum!

I had a 535 5 speed, it was a blast to drive and very reliable at 260k. The major thing that annoyed me was the valve train noise. I sold it after I got the 540/6. I missed that car so now I got another 535/5 parts car that I will fix up once I find the time and use it for DD.

Welcome to the forum....I just picked up my 90' 535i 5sp today, was going to use it for parts for my 92' 525i 5sp . But this car runs great so just might have to add it to my stable :devillook. It has over 403k and in great shape.
