So the damn thing started make a nice grinding noise, so I figured it was time to part ways. I ordered a knew one and it arrived yesterday, just in time for the weekend. All went well for replacing it. All the bots came out nicely. The fan clutch was not a problem. The only real problem was the darn little hose from the pump to the thermostat. It was a real friendly guy that just did not want to let the water pump go. After much petting and cursing I convinced it that it need to let the pump go. So I replace the belt also, which was good since the old one was about to leave me stranded with not alternator.
So it goes back together well except the tension-er on the power steering looses all of it teeth, I guess it had not been brushing (so if any one has one I am interested) After using a nice big bar to move the pump over I got it nice and tight.
So it is all together and I can not get all of the air out of the system. I bleed and I bleed, but the air just kept on coming out. I finally decided to turn off the car, because I was worried that I would run out of coolant. As soon as I turned off the car I could hear a low whistling noise coming from the little hose on the pump. It turns out it was was full of hot air. It just did not get on well enough to the thermostat, so it was letting air in but not letting fluid out. So after letting it know who was boss and burning myself I got it to move on to the thermostat just a little more. This solved the problem and the car is happy again.

The end. :redspot
