Anyone ever remove their hood badge without damaging the badge or the hood trying to pry it off?
Mine needs to be replaced, but I am concerned about damaging the hood.
Thank-you

Get a piece of hard plastic (credit card) and use that to protect the hood while you stick a blade screwdriver under the badge to pry it out. Apply gentle pressure to both sides to remove it evenly.

Use a plastic pry tool with a credit card or some other hard surface material.

The easiest way is to drive it into a wall, fast!!! The roundel pops right out! :shifty
Seriously, a very small flat screw driver (or a plastic one), with a shammy or very soft towel wedged between it and the car. Slowly pry it out, it should just pop out.
If you don't feel comfortable doing it that way, they do sell kits (try BavAuto).
