I have a proble but i dont know where its coming from. some times my electric windows wount work or the wipers wount work unless they are turn to the fastest speed. i used to happen only if i started the car with all the doors closed so i would start the car with my door driver side open and every thing would work fine but now even that isnt working i checked all the fuses up front and they all look good replaced the one fro the windows and it didnt do any thing.
Some one help please
Oh it also killed the alternator about a month ago

Check the fusible link: bmwe34.net/E34main/Maintenance/Electrical/Fusible_link.htm

Check your grounds sounds like bad ground problem. Take them off any clean the contacts and put them back on make sure the wires are in good shape not cut or corroded away

Have a similar problem, but haven't had a chance to work on a fix (or checking things yet), see if it works when both driver and passenger are unlocked. Mine won't work unless both are unlocked.

Check your engine ground as well there should be a wire from your block to your chassis your altinator grounds through your engine

The Bentley manual shows a ground on the head behind the oil filter and underneath the plastic cover in front of the ecu on the passenger side. My 535 has one from the engine block to the chassis by the front of the passenger tire
