New Car Smell

So my winter tire package finally came in.

It's now sitting on a set of 16" "Classic" rims, wrapped in Continental winter rubber.

It's a weapon in the snow, but I really don't like the decrease in attractiveness over the stock 18" package. Ah well, it will keep me safe until the spring.

Not good! Put black steel wheels on, or get 18 inch snows.

I downsized to 17" and went with Pirelli Sottozero Serie II RFT's. I like the setup better than my 18" OEM Continentals. They seem to handle better and are definitely quieter and smoother. They are great in snow, but since they are not a studless compound rubber like the Blizzak's, they are not ideal for ice, but that would be my only quibble.

My 17" OEM rims + Michelin's = my all year setup. :)

Is that bumper stock? I don't think I've ever seen an F30 with rear parking sensors but not front ones.

I don't know where the op is from, but in canada, we can get the rear sensors without the front I don't recall if front sensors were even an option on the 328 when I purchased. The odd thing is my display shows two overviews where I assume one is intended to be for the front sensors that I don't have.

Its part of the Premium Pkg packaged with other items. The package is $3500.

Don't complain. You guys have way more options and flexibility in selecting options than we do. A couple of examples; I couldn't get paddle shifters or adaptive suspension on my 328. At the time, I couldn't get sport seats.

Not that I miss it, but Zenons come standard on my car, yet we no longer have headlamp washers. On US vehicles, your cold weather package has headlamp washers. In Europe, if you have Zenons, it is legislated that you must have headlamp washers. The reason being is Zenons produce no heat, so ice and snow accumulates on the lamps. Oh, that's right BMW Canada, we don't get ice and snow!

Oh, and a similarity equipped 328 in the US is about $10,000 cheaper.

I'm one of the fortunate few to have halogens on mine (sarcasm). And it may have been that you simply got it too early. Did you order it or buy it off the lot?

What do you mean that I may have got it too early? The current ones still do not have headlamp washers. I purchased mine off the lot.
