Belly pan?

I'm currently working under the front of my 328 and it looks like there should be something behind the bumper cover and the cross member. I have looked and can't find and pictures of this or even on RealOEM any diagrams. Can anyone assist?

Yea I found my particular model but still am a bit confused. Looking under the car it looks like something will attach to the bottom back side of the bumper cover as a filler panel. Unfortunatly the diagram isn't a big help clearing that up. I did find out that my car was suposed to have the brake ducts and doesn't. Only about $10 each, so I think I'll have to check at the dealer about getting some

I thought there was more to what was supposed to be there. Thanks for the links defiantly helped and now I can see why the old one wasn't there. I may have to order an aftermarket one as OEM, it seems, don't hold up very well.
