They are fun car's. I'm thinking about getting a b5 1.8t 5 speed to turn into something awd, and fun. I used to own a 1996 passat vr6, and growing up my dad had a wolfsburg edition 1991 jetta. I would love do a 1.8t swap into a 1991 Jetta in memory of my dad 1 day.

GT2860RS on a fat VW? I'm a bit surprised it pulled from the 135 given how much those N54/N55 guys talk up how their cars become "super car killers" with just a tune.

This particular gti is built and not your normal k04 upgraded vw. Its running around 30psi. The same car walked an Evo with a gt35r on 21 psi.

Korrekt , i had a mk3 gti they are fun but never a bmw.. I was leaving her home and going to bmw perf center autox every year in my friends bmw .. i wanted a bmw alot and god gave me two :)))

lol, N54/55 cars definitely benefit from a tune....but the only super cars they're going to kill are an old school NSX :stickoutt

I'm curious about the complete mod list for the 135. If it has full exhaust and the tune to accompany the exhaust/IC, I'm surprised at the outcome. If not, I'm not all that surprised just comparing the capabilities of a gt28rs to the numbers a "basic tune" N54 car makes.

This GTI did not "walk" the 35r evo at all. They were very evenly matched up.

This is not the video I was refering to. The first video of the evo on lower boost than this video you posted, it was pulled on by the gti. Notice how the title of this video says "rematch." walked can be a relative term I suppose.

This GTI did not "walk" the 35r evo at all. They were very evenly matched up.
The first video, the gti pulled each time as I recall. the owner saw he was running a lower boost than he thought, turn the boost back up for the rematch in the video shown just below your post.

Who was bragging here? Im not the owner if the gti. The gti owner wasnt bragging either unless I missed that somewhere. Did you read this thread? Only thing ever stated was that the gti walked the Evo on 21 psi. that is truth depending on one's understanding of what 'walked' is, so maybe rather 'pulled' should be used. on 24 psi the evo pretty much ran from the gti. Im not sure at all where you are getting those interpretations from.

28 would make more sense on the difference of the 2 races.

I dont know on the gti numbers, I think they were posted on bimmerboost in one of the correspoding threads to the videos. The evo was like 470ish ,but I dont remember exactly off hand.
