95' 325 engine rattle

Just bought a 95' 325is on CL for 3000. Has just 120,000 and is in pretty nice shape. One minor annoyance though. When the engine is warmed up there is a slight diesely sound that appears to be coming from the top front of the engine. Not very loud but annoying. Doesnt seem to affect performance. Could this be the vanos?

Could you possibly take a video? best way to pin point it. Take a screw driver put it on the valve cover near the Vanos. put your ear to the handle. or if you have a stethoscope you can use that too.
