you are there for school right? should be finishing soon. You'll be home in no time. I've been to several cities around the US. Still the Dallas the best.

Wait a minute. There's a heck of a lot more fakes (both in boobs and personality) around here than up North. I'm confused.
To be honest, I haven't been to Houston nor have I lived in DC so I guess I can't say anything for sure as it applies to those cities.
Nevertheless, I'd much prefer Boston over Dallas.

Stop crying, it's ok.....someday you'll get a girlfriend...:nono ;)
Nah, SNK, the problem isn't the fakes, it's the attitude up here, all of the girls think they're hot and try to have an attitude to back it up, shame they have nothing to back up, but down in TX, the most of the hot girls i knew or came across were really sweet and not snobby :az:.......then again, I go to a $42k a year school so I guess the girls can be a little snobby...comes with the territory :dunno
Mike, I don't live in TX anymore, my folks moved up to the DC area as well. The only way I can head back south is if I get into med-school down there....

I want to end up in either Cali, FL, TX...maybe NC or Georgia :az: but yeah...
I've been to Dallas a few times, I like it just as much as Houston, both have it's ups and downsides...
I like NorCal better than SoCal...

Place's I have spent a great deal of time would be Socal, Colorado, Georgia, Florida and all over Tejas. I dont really see anything wrong with living in Dallas I like it here. If I was given the chance to move back to LA or surroundings citys I would. Either LA or Dallas I'm happy.
Everything around LA is written in 5 different languages here its just spanish or english.
Colorado must have the fewest smokers and fat people I have seen plus friendly driving once your out side of Denver I love the small towns. That'd be a cool job to teach girls how to ski, I'd have a girl only class so their boyfriends could'n attend so I could give the girls the hands on training they deserve.

Man this guy knows whats up.
Austin is my favorite place in Texas, its like the San Francisco of the southwest.
Dallas is alright, very reasonable cost of living, used to be plenty of jobs, enough things to do for most people , only thing is its not very scenic and you can't go snowboarding anywhere in Texas.
Personally I like Hartford Conneticut and upstate New York best.

More motivation to stay sober and listen to the music in the "Live music capital of the world"!
Hamilton pool is unfadable too.

I like Austin too. I went to 6th street a couple of years ago for the first time. Me and my friends went bar hopping, it was fun. We went to Houston the next day and it was ok. We went to a couple of clubs and hung around Wesheimer (sp?). Earlier that year we went to San Antonio...I didnt like it. It may have been because we didnt know anyone there to show us the hot spots but we asked everywhere and no one knew where to go.
I like living in Dallas, but I would rather live near a beach. The beach is something I dont think I could get tired of. I've never been snowboarding, but would like to go.

My favorite city in Texas is Austin, of course the name is cool you know. I like the city, but not the pee filled barten springs. I dunno if I could live there its easy to confuse a place you like to visit for a place to live. I dont mind visiting Houston but I would never live there. I'd have to take a shower 32 times a day.
Theres the Hill Country drive coming up April 24,25 which tours the scenic Texas hill country. I shall be attending along with my parents.

You live in Ft Worth and went to Dallas only once?
I love Ft Worth. Close enough to go when I need to, but far enough to not get all the crap. :redspot
The cost of living is crazy in DC and Cali. I will stay here in TX. :buttrock

I definitely don't miss the cold, but I do miss the changing of the seasons. There's nothing like driving up to ME/NH when the leaves start turning. That and going Apple Picking in Nashoba Valley.
I also miss skiing. Wachusetts was a good place to go after work because they did night-skiing, even though it's not a big mountain.
The thing about Dallas that sucks is the drivers. In Boston, drivers are aggressive, but here in Dallas, they are just plain stupid. You also have to drive at least 30 minutes to get anywhere.
I can definitely say that there are some great restaurants here, though. But they don't have any good Japanese food. I miss Porter Square...

Well, I decided that I am going to make a drive down to Texas before the start of my senior year next semester. I'll let you know guys know more later on this summer, but it'll be right after my MCAT exam (Aug.14th) and my 21st birthday (Aug.18th)....what better than to celebrate by making a half country drive to go back 'home'!!! :D
a nice drive through VA, TN, AL, MS, LA, TX? or should I go VA, TN, AR, TX?

I don't get out much. ;) No, not really. I go to Dallas almost every week actually. Downtown Ft. Worth is much nicer/safer/better than downtown Dallas. There is alot more to do in the Dallas area though. There is only so much fun to be had in Ft. Worth.
