Other than visual inspection, how can I determine if an oem alloy has a crack or other structural issues? No, the tires doesn't loose pressure.

Have it put on a tire balancer and spun to look for bends or flat spots. Cracks are a visual thing but the tire would be leaking if there was one
Why are you asking

The car has a history of slight instability at highway speeds. The tires are Michelin PS2's, all without uneven wear. The suspension and typical wear parts have been refreshed. I installed Bridgestone Blizzak LM25 on BMW steel wheels on the car and it seems the high speed instability is improved. So, I suspect a rear wheel issue. Thanks for asking.

Agreed with tire balanced (get it professionally done). The computer will sense imperfections in the spin of your wheels. When i bought my used BBS LM-Rs they looked perfect but got them balanced to make sure. It took 30 seconds per tire to test, they were perfect =D
