So I'm relatively new to the 335i market, and I've come across some different iDrive comparisons. I've done a little research, and seen that there are 3 different versions. My question is what is the difference between the 2 pictures that are shown? Why does one have a voice speak function, and the other doesn't?
Please forgive my lack of knowledge on the issue, I turn to the forum for the knowledge of all enthusiasts :cool

on depending on the year of the 335 around the idrive knob will be options that you can directly go into, like the radio, nav, service menu, options. the newer still seem to be quite a bit faster. and the ones that shown in your pictures tend to be a little sluggish at times from screen to screen but not all the time.

They are both from 2007 335i coupes. Both have 2nd generation nav. I believe that the split button, has a voice command function; the steering wheel on that vehicle does have a voice function as well.
My question really is did BMW come out with a mid year production trim....?
