Hello,

Can someone assist with a fitment question for an E36? Will a set of 15X7 with an offset of 30ET fit an E36?

Thanks,

Alex

Yes as long as it is 5x120 with 72.56 centerbore

That is not always true. They have to have enough load capacity and they have to have enough brake clearance. Just knowing the offset sometimes will not tell you enough information. For instance an E36 M3 has bigger brakes and the 15" wheels will not work.

While on this subject I have the same question but different wheels, bolt pattern and center bore at bmw stock.

Will an 18x8 et42 be a problem on the front of an E36?
I feel like it will be too deep and I'll need to space them out.

Rears are 18x9 et30 which should have plenty of room

No spacers required.
I used to roll 18" Style 32 8j, ET47 on the front without a problem on my e36.

Awesome! It just seems like they'll sit so close so I wasn't sure. Depending on how they look I might space them just for looks but good to know I don't have to.

What size tires were you running? I want to run a 235 on them

225/40 front on 8j et47
255/35 rear on 8.5j et50

rjones1214,

I will say that the front is not the issue. The rear will need a fender lip roll and some negative camber though. If I can help with the tires let me know.

Yep I agree with Jim, you have to stretch 225/40 on the 9Js and roll the rear fenders a little.

So I have a set of Breyton Magic 17x8.5 in front and 17x9.5 in the rear so the should fit with no rubbing if the fender is rolled. Correct?

The Breyton should be fine

What is the offset of the wheels?

Two set of wheels options Both Staggerd I am looking to run on an e36 body first set. 18x8 front et offset=47. 18x9 rear offset=25
I am going run 225/40/18 in front and 255/35/18 in rear

Second set 19 inch 19x9 front offset 38 19x10 offset 42 Need suggestion on tire size front and rear for 19's

With the offset of the first set the wheels are going to stick out of the wheel well and they will rub. The offset of the second set of wheels is better but with the 19X10 you are still going to need to do some fender modification and run more negative camber.

The best size tires would be 235/35R19 front and 245/35R19 rear.

Well I don't know the ET=offset of the rims i wonder if this website will help me figure it out. http://www.1010tires.com If not where can i find the offsets of the rims. Reason is because i went to the Breyton Magic is discontinued wheels of course.

The offset of the wheel should be stamped on the backside. It will be listed as ET and a 2 digit number.

Front 8.5x17 ET=44, Rear 9.5x17 ET=41 so what would be the best tires sizes for thats setup

225/45-17 Front, 245/40-17 Rear....or 235/40-17 Front, 245/40-17 Rear, and for more aggressive in the back...225-45-17 Front, 255-40-17 Rear.

The sizes RiCo list are correct. The 255/40R17 may need some fender lip modification.
If I can help let me know.
