I'm going autocrossing!

I'm going autocrossing this march for the first time. It is a houston chapter held auto-x and it includes a class and everything. I can't wait. (I need to get those coil-overs first because my shocks are terrible!)

Heh, I'll post the results (only if they are good :stickoutt !) What is funny is my whole family is going. We are going to pull up with 4 E30 M3's and one E36 M3! Everyone is going to tremble with fear :D

So what is involved in Auto X ?

The one that I am taking, it involves a class where they teach you a lot of different stuff. Then you go to the course (usually a parking lot with a track lined by cones) and you walk the course, find the braking points and you walk "the line". There are time trials where you go through the course. You learn the limits of your car, how to control it in an emergency situation etc. From what I hear is that you learn a lot about your car! Plus you can do stuff that would be illegal on the normal roads.
