Ok guys i cant stand my car anymore. Problem after problem. Anyway im parting out my car starting with interior because im still driving the cursed machine.

The car is in my possesion so everything will be shipped asap and with same day tracking numbers. Not like the jerk who had my other parts car.

I did the swap but the motor is bad :(

It constantly smokes, changed osv no fix
Burns a quart almost everyday.
Multiple misfires. New coil packs and plugs
Cylnder 1 very low compression
Changed VCG,s front manifold gasket
I think it has an exhaust leak.
Definitely has a vacuum leak somewhere.
And I supposedly have the kiss of death p0011.
So yea I'm tired of this on going crap.

Ok. Ill pass. 3500 for a car I'd have to tow home is a bit much for me. Last time I went to jersey for an 01 sport it cost me 1600.
I just bought a perfectly good 01 sport with less miles for not much more.

I would. 2700 is a lot for a car with issues. Kbb and nada both show values for this generation car in the 4-5k range in good condition.

Dude, I live in CA so I could care less what you do with the car, but realize the average part out nets only about $2-3k and you have to deal with all the time of tear down and shipping. I would strongly consider the $2700 offer and be done with it. Your wife will be happier too...and that's the real bottom line.

I ended up going to the dark side and buying a r350. With the kids n all this is the car i needed..... couldnt see my self driving a dodge or whatever minivan. Lol......

Well, picked it up yesterday.
Got it home and tried messing with the motor.
I think this might have been why it didnt run.

I cleaned them all and it fired up. It runs rough, and uses more oil than the United States :confused
But after running it for a while and clearing codes and adaptations, it seems to be getting better.
Only codes now are the po11, and a couple o2 sensor codes. I'm wondering if the o2's are even there? As there is a pretty loud exg leak.

The loud screeching I believe is a bad alt pulley. And the "ticking" noise is the exg leak, not the vanos. The vanos is :eyecrazy quiet. Not a single knock.
I'm getting 155 psi comp in the drivers front cyl. That one was supposedly the dead cyl. I'm tempted to just pull the covers and have a looksie. See if there is a broken OSV under the timing chain.
If so, then I'll rebuild it and sell it.

As for parts left, there is a few goodies left. Sport trans (I'm told its fairly new, OP?), sport step shifter, sport diff.
All the panels are pretty nice. Orient Blue, but they have all been resprayed and are pretty rough paint wise.
I'm keeping the front pass door. But the rest are up for sale and are rust free. It has a rough tan interior.
Nav stuff is gone
Wheel is gone
Headlights and tails are gone
There is one fog, but its been modded for hids, so I need to see if I can fix it.
Seats are gone, but there is good seat back pockets in tan.


Lots of good vavona door trims.
I have 3 glove box latches
Decent door panels.
Mid range speakers are aftermarkets.
Got the rear dsp subs in good cond.
Mpars no tires.
03 17" X5 wheels with good tires.

Its gonna be a bit before I can pull the sport goodies. I want the motor running good before I pull any of that stuff.
But if there is other stuff you need, let me know.

Yup, but they arnt perfect. Its probably cheaper to buy new.
Although, hit up Bob, I think he just retroed pdc into his, so he will probably have his old ones, which were brand new not too long ago.
