I have an issue here....I am in the process of refinishing my style 5 17's. So I separated the ceNters and the barrels, easy enough, I will have the center powerd coated.....

Now, I found a DIY on the forums on how to refinsh my wheels. I went and bought jasco, and put them on te lips an barrels, now it was cold outside and it seems that the jasco had dried on the lips...I might have left it on too one 1hr, now a day later I have been work my ass off the get it off, it is caked on a dried...what do I do? Acid dip? Any over the counter things I can do to get this shit off so I can polish my lips?? Thanks for any help

Put another layer of jasco over the dried clear coat, but don't wait to long.

I used hot water and a rag to wash up anything that has dried. I did multiple coats of stripper which I left on for less than 30 min per coat. Don't let it dry.

Or do it inside but in a big tub (big tub and in a basement or place where stripper splatter on a floor will not matter). I used steel wool and aircraft stripper and rubber gloves. Don't forget the rubber gloves. Not thin gloves like you use when working on your car. Let it work for about 15 minutes, give or take, but short of it drying.

That is my issue. This shit has dried. So should I put more stripper on it and work it and then maybe a warm cloth?

This stuff is caked on and dried....unreal I got to get it off
