You know I would, but I dont really like the mounting of a full roof carbon panel.
On the other hand, you know I will take care of you on this one...
Also, go see me on Facebook (S2Rtuning composites )
Thank you,
Alex

When you put the delete panel in do you have to weld in the support bracket the non sunroof cars have? i know you have to do this when doing a full carbon roof i just wasnt sure about the panel because im assuming you still remove the sunroof track for this correct?

Hi,
You can use our carbon panel and still reuse original support bracket. Yes you will have to remove entire sunroof track and all. I would suggest to separate the support bracket from the sunrood cassette and reinstall it back...
Thank you,
Alex

I saw the part about the roof support. But do you have any more info on required hardware? Any recommendation on a gasket or if its needed to prevent it from leaking?

Make a full CF roof for an E46 m3 and you've got a buyer.
provided it's at a decent price.

Do you have any pics of the roof panel installed on an e46? Also can you use the oem non-sunroof headliner with this panel?

I don't but some forums do, just search. Mine will be installed in a few weeks once I figure out what sealant to use
Either headliner should work but I'm just putting the stock one back in.

Hi Guys,
I have to check, I know that I did home some but not sure what folder file.
Please use clear RTV clear silicone that could be purchased at any automotive place. Also since the panel goes in please of the original sunroof mechanism you can use any headliner.
Thank you,
Alex

Any hardware? Or just reuse what held the moonroof in?
Spitfire1940
02-17-2013, 10:58 AM
Same hardware... Just need to add 2 small sheet metal screws for the back lip, about 1/4" long. That is it... If you have the roof mechanism out, it should not take longer then 15 to 30 min to install.
Thanks, Alex

Great fit and finish from S2R. Installed a few on customer cars and waiting for mine to arrive. Keep it up Alex. Would highly recommend. Coming from a supporting vendor (Auto Assets)

The weave on the panel is 2x2? Possible to make it in 1x1?

any tips for a waterproof install? I just received mine, it fits perfectly but I'm thinking about applying a small bead of 3M Window Weld to seal it up.
