Breakdown yesterday had it towed.. AAA platinum didnt cost a thing..

Where can I find and need the part number for the hose/line that goes from the waterpump to the surge tank please. The bottom one with the bends in it.

Started leaking yesterday while I was out on the road and my son noticed steam coming from the front when we were stopped in a parking lot.
Got out popped the hood and a 3 minute investigation discovered a drip and traced it back to the clamp at the waterpump on the surge tank line.
Was just a drip but whe I wiggled the hose it would squirt so I decided to not take chances and have it towed home ( since i pay for the service might as well use it. Didnt want to have it burst on the freeway and then have a dangerous towing situation. Thanks to my son real trouble I feel was averted

Should be part # 11 53 1 741 404.
$22+ from a dealer.
$7 from autohausaz.com
There may be one-time use clamps on there, so check for that and pick some up as needed.

I think you're talking about the lower radiator hose. Got mine from oembimmerparts for $26 shipped.

I would replace all the houses at once since one when bad the others are soon to follow

I had done the others not to long ago when the waterpump went out but this hose was not to be found at any store locally so it was left out and is now back to haunt me...hahahaha
But i bought a spare one to have as well

I'll be doing my upper hose as it had a nasty bubble/ bulge.
Question. Does system need to be bled.....bleed...whatever?

There is a bleeder screw on top of the surge tank.I bled it when I had swapped the whole radiator but for this I didnt. Not sure if that was by the book but it only needed like a quart of fluid.

This was an easy swap. Unbolted the filter airbox and maf and had plenty of room. Old hose had a small split in it at the clamping area on the waterpump.
1/2 hr job going very slow
