Hey guys, first time member to Beemer community. I have a 2006 BMW 325 that I resently bought last month. After driving it couple of weeks the tire pressure lights came on. I asked around and everyone said its not a major issue. I went to the gas station to adjust the pressure but the light is still on. Is there anything I have to do? My roommate who drives a Mercedes said some cars reset themselves after changing the pressure, while some u need to reconfigure the tire pressure. Please help!!!

you will need to reset the system thru the instrument cluster. there are several videos on youtube on how to reset it.
there is also on here a diy on how to do it.
welcome to the forum. MB will reset after tire pressure adj, but BMW will not.

The owners manual tells you how to reset the light...

WHO reads the owners manual anymore.
MB puts an electronic owners manaul in the cars with the command system. you can search it right there in your car.

Doesn't the light remain on if the car reads enough pressure differential between tires even when they are adequately filled?

It shouldn't. If they are properly filled and you reset the TPMS it should turn off.

set the tires to 32 in the fron and 36 in the rear. if the light still will not go out after resetting there is a problem. it does sometimes take a certain period of constant driving to reset the light. does the light flash at anypoint. if so there is a failure in the RDC system
