Hi, kind of new here. I have looked around for a while though and so far can't seem to find a solution for my issue so I decided to post and may be one of ya fellows can help me out.
A few months ago I had a rad issue and had to drive 20-30min with an overheated engine. I am not sure if that had anything to do with it but since around then the idle rev started jumping. The car warms up a little rev gets to about 1500 and starts jumping between 1500 - 2000. If I rev it higher there doesn't seem to be an issue, but in idle it keeps going at it.
So far I have tested coolant temp sensors (swapped the plugs and judging by the dash both work fine), checked for Vacuum leaks as well as I could with carb cleaner, and inspected all the hoses around the intake elbow, and the elbow it self. Cleaned the MAF sensor. Cleaned the ICV. Nothing seems to have helped, or changed anything. The only code that pops up is 1215 "Air mass/flow sensor". So I guess my next step will be to replace the MAF sensor which I was stalling on thanks to the price.
Here is a video of the problem for extra clarity: (as I am new I can't post links so...)
its on youtube: /watch?v=4ffxddtyXGA
Any advise you might have would be great!
P.S. On a side note, any one know what's a good place/site to get parts from in Canada? Thanks to there not being a whole seller in Canada every site I found so far is US and the shipping usually costs as much as the parts.
