Okay, I am new to this forum and to the bmw world. I love my car, but lets be honest; the lci facelift is beautiful. I have a 2006 325i and I want to start by cosmetically converting it into an lci. For the front what exactly do I need? And where can I buy it? I've researched a lot and most forums just say " lci trunk, inner lights, outter lights, etc... But I actually need specific information so I can stay searching for what I EXACTLY need. Like I said, I am
New to bmw so please don't insult my intelligence. Anyone out there know how I can go about the conversion? For the front what exactly do I need? And for the back as well? Where can I find these products? And when searching for them? What exactly do I search? Thank you for all your time.

In addition, if you can give me prices to each that would be awesome! Overall price what do you think I'm looking at?

Front: Hood, front bumper, front fenders
Back: Trunk, Lights

Not sure about price but what about going with an M-tech bumper or M-Sport LCI bumper? What about keeping the preLCI backend and blackline taillights?

Front lights too of course. Costly for sure.

Coding is needed for the tails as well.

What exactly do you mean by coding? What's usually the price on that? I honestly want to start with the rear end conversion first. My budget is about 6k would this be enough?

I really do want the m-sport lci bumper but I would need the lci hood as well right? I think for 6k I would only be able to do the rear end conversion; then I would slowly convert the front end.

For that much money, you can probably trade in for an LCI and pocket some.

I don't want another car payment though. Do you know if the rear end conversion will cost about that much?

Yes, conversations in general are expensive. Just get blackline taillights and a deck spoiler? DEPO blacklines are slightly darker than OEM. Go with DEPO if your car is a dark color.

Why would you have payments? You take the equity you have in this car, add the cash you were going to spend on the conversion, and get yourself a decent 328 cash. All depends on the condition of your car of course, but the conversion is money wasted IMO, you will never get it back when you come to sell.
