Personally, I prefer the chrome with black centers. Leaves the BMW identity intact from a distance. Black on the dark colors tends to become too generic looking, to me.

I tried the black one on my car for a while but went back to chrome. I felt that the black took away the majestic & luxurious look of the car away. In my opinion, the chrome has that unmistakable BMW look.
I also recommend the 750 chrome grills instead of the 740.

I strongly suggest you go back to oem chrome. Nobody "gets" blacked out bits and pieces except for those in the mod scene and they look awful anyway.

I'd stick with what you have. If you go chrome, it'd be the only chrome on your car and seem out of place.

Black and always black. I just hate chrome, any chrome on my car. To me, anything chrome looks cheap.

Since you got the black around the windows and door trim... go with black and complete the look. the gloss black trim might just set it off nicely too, though...

For my color silver I'm gonna go with OEM chrome with black slates. This post has shown some nice variations of all though.
