Not sure what cheap is to you, but it cracks me up when someone buys a BMW and wants to make "cheap mods". HAHA

1) If you have chrome window trim you can have it wrapped (150ish)
2) Black kidney grills (40)
3) Black or CF Roundels (15 each)
4) Bright license plate lights (75ish)

I would stay away from ebay IMO

check out umnitza.com or sv-concepts.com for decently priced kidney grille

I bought my black kidney grills from the dealer. Fit is perfect. No issues or complaints as they are bmw parts

Do they typically have them in stock? I need to head over today and get some license plate frames.

^ definitely worth the money since the usually last longer and are of better quality

Stealership is always nice but as the name indicates usually costs $$$

Aftermarket range from 40-80 while dealer is prob 100+

You can also get OEM parts online from some supporting vendors or other sites, most times less expensive than the dealer. If you go aftermarket, make sure you get it from reputable sources since as mentioned quality can vary and can sometime cheapen a car when they fade/peel. I personally do not trust eBay unless it is a reputable source selling via eBay.

As for the grills i dont feel the aftermarket kidney grills give the cars much justice. I think they are too much alike to the ones that are already on the car :/

But as for exterior mods just stick to the basics like tinting and rims and lights. If you go the route of body kits, it may look nice but if your going for cheap mods maybe just tint and lights

If you didnt know they also have diff. Color lights for the angel eyes but check the laws in your area they may be illegal depending on what color.

Agreed!

Tints, Angels, Front bumper reflectors, kidneys, HID's are some of the easy mods to make your car look a little nicer and sporty you can also debadge the car but not my thing

Lol debadging or "shaving"... funny you should mention that.

My girlfriend recently made a joke how if you debadge you car it makes it look "like a counterfit or a fake designer car. Like an imitation gucci bag or something"

FYI, most high end cars in Europe are debadged. In fact, that is a factory option. Some people like the cleaner look.
Oh, and btw, when we say debadging here, we do not mean removing the BMW emblem, just the model designation (328/335/etc) and other redundant badges (e.g. xDrive, sDrive, etc).

Oh no i understand how some people may like it. But for my taste it depends on the car, i personally wouldnt want to debadge a bmw or a rover but a vw maybe.

Yes. I have 35% all around on my black e90 and I think it is too much attention. Can't imagine if my car was white, the contrast would make me want to go to 50%.
