Interesting! I had always wondered what the throwing stars would look like on an E39. I like!!

Hi

Welcome to the E39 Touring brigade!

Throwing stars is certainly a very different look indeed! for me the look is 50/50 currently, with the 'not liking' it half also conceding they're not as bad as I'd have expected !!

I see that you're in Las Vegas, so next time I'm out there I'll have to look you and the car up! also, as it's always lovely and sunny there, and also the roads are very very smooth, I'd say you could easily run a bigger set of wheels and more distinctive looking as currently with the colour of the Thowing Stars, you look like you've just swapped to a winter setup and preparing for a deep freeze say in one of the colder northern US states!

Any plans etc for the car? do check out the unofficial touring thread if you've not already done so!

Cheers, Dennis!

The car came with MPars and I thought that was a look that is like Style 5 s in the E36 world everyone has done it. I was trying a different look. But, I think the dark color and relatively small wheel isn't quit right. So I will be looking for something bigger and different.

As far as changes...it has lowering springs/bilsteins already, Dynavin, exhaust. So maybe software, M bumpers

I already have a 3.46 diff coming..the car feels a little soft in 1st and 2nd.

Anyway, thanks for the comments

nice ride.I think some shadowline trim, paint,or wrap around the windows would do it wonders.

you could use some http://www.foreverblack.com/ on the trim, will make it look a lot nicer.

Did you repair the faded black metal strips by the window? What did you use? I tried forever black on it didn't come out good.
