how easy is it to change the bulbs on the 2001 740iL's. i dont like the dull yellow looking bulbs so i bought so whites to match my headlamps. please explain as simple as possible, not the best mechanic in the world lol.

The yellower they are, the better they will work as FOG lights (some even use yellow lenses to make them even more gold.) If you just want them for show, you can convert them to HID (Xenon) like your headlights, but that will require some minor technical expertise.

i like them for show in all honestly. ive seen them withe the yellow lens and its not my thang in all honestly. i bought the white bulbs not the xenons, i just need to know how to install them. i dont wanna mess anything up

If you've got the owner's manual, it will show you how to change the bulbs. Basically there is a screw in the side of the light (through the lower grille) that allows the fog lamp assembly to swing forward. Then the bulb holder can easily be unplugged from the back and the cover removed.
