Hello, all. New to the forum - been lurking a little while trying to do my homework. I have been test driving sport sedans and have my options narrowed down to the S4 or the 335i. I like the price, MPG and interface on the 335, but really like the performance and overall interior of the S4 a little better. Given that I'm going to be driving about 25,000 a year though, the extra 5 mpg on the highway will add up.

All that in mind, if I go with the 335 I'd like to get a little more power out of it, so I've been looking at tuners, ie Dinan, JB4. Anyone have any results on what kind of MPG I could expect out of the 335 with a tune? If it negates the highway MPG advantage it has over the S4, it seems like it wouldn't make much sense. Any thoughts or feed back would be much appreciated.

People seem to report it to be about the same. Probably depends more on how you drive rather than what mod you have.
