I'm prepping my back up sunroof for my headlined project. Does anyone know how to get the slide out?

Is this the part you're referring to?

I'm just trying to work it out - you mean the interior slide with the fabric coating right? Pretty sure that's what I've linked to on the TIS. I was looking at it originally when working out what the problem was with my sunroof.

Hope that helps!

Thanx. That's exactly what i need. I'm going to have to look at that next to my sunroof. They make it seem so easy!

Oh man tell me about it. I just wanted to remove my steel outer sunroof lid and that just about drove me insane. I started work in the day and it wasn't until late at night with 3 torches and 6 hands helping out that we finally got it back together - some guides just don't give you all the details!

That inner slide looks simple enough, but by the looks of it they expect you to have removed the steel / glass top lid beforehand. I swear if I ever have to remove THAT again... lord help me.

Like the TIS shows, open your sunroof all the way. Grab the slider and push it close (it will take a good tug). Once it is closed you will remove the screws from the topside and lift it out that way.
