Clicking noise

Under glovebox I heard a constant clicking noise. I took the battery in for testing and a charge and it is reading poor.

What is under there that could make such a noise. Sounds like a relay but wondering if anything specific. This was when car was turned off. Ill report later if proper voltage battery will stop that clicking but for now wondering if its something else. Mainly because if the battery is actually good that means its not charging or I have a battery drain issue.

Could this relay if it is be clicking due to low voltage

There are lots of relays under there. GM, lkm, sedc if it has it, and a fan to blow air into the egos under the hood.

Ok actually jumped the gun the battery was shot to its bitter end. But good news is at proper voltage there is no clicking anymore.

Hopefully tomorrow or at least this weekend ill get a chance to pull the plugs and clean em up and take it for a quick drive.

id just replace them at this point if i were you. unless you know when they were last done.

If I determine the car is worth keeping for sure then ill replace them. For now cleanup for testing purposes to look for improvement

have you gotten to see underneath the car yet? 9 and 3 and check suspension if anything loose..

Not yet. Suspension rebuild requirement isnt a factor in keeping it. Engine, transmission, electrical stuffs and smog items are.

I wasnt meaning rebuild the whole front end, just replace what's loose...
