Hey guys, it's about time for me to have another project and a one off leather dash is what I have in mind. Here's what I'm looking for:

Leather dashboard, preferably a late model one so I'm not cutting or dremeling and so that my leather pattern will be an accurate tight fit to the car. Color doesn't matter nor condition. Mold, Small torn areas, fading, whatever!! I don't care as long as it coos enought for me to reverse engineer and get a good pattern from it. Also price. I'm looking to spend around 200. To 250 SHIPPED. Keep in mind that I don't need vent or buttons so if you want to keep them, feel free.

That should do it. Thanks for all you help guys!

Got mine at a junkyard for $85. In perfect shape but I had plenty of dremel work to do since it was an early version.

Got mine from a 98 750. Fit just fine. As long as the doner car had front side curtin airbags it will fit.

There are several leather dashes on car-part at good prices. Just search for a 750 and it'll only bring up the leather ones.

Quick update. I found a guy with a 95 750il. I bought his rear reclining seats, all the electronics and the little lower seat bracket and he threw in the leather dash for free. My total was 300 even. Thanks for all of your suggestions!!

What dremeling work did you have to do? Can I asse you just had to widen the a pillar area to accommodate the airbag.

On my iPhone now but if you do a search of my install (keyword leather dash) I have photos of the work. It is not a detailed DIY though.
